Before there was The Last of the Mohicans
there was Cooper Erving & Savage.
James Fenimore Cooper, the grandson of the famed author of The Last of the Mohicans, and his father before him, Paul Fenimore Cooper, are patriarchs of this law firm which traces its lineage as far back as 1785. A lot has changed in those 200 plus years, but one thing hasn’t, and that’s our emphasis on providing skilled, forward-thinking legal service to businesses and individuals in the Capital Region.
